This lamp is sturdy and looks pretty well made but the glass was much darker than the lamp pictured on Amazon. It doesn’t give off a lot of light even when I put the max. watt bulb as I could in there. If it wasn’t such a hastle I would have returned it but am using it because it looks pretty on my desk. We purchased this lamp for our kitchen after a lot of comparison shopping. The colors are vivid and the high-efficiency twist bulbs work great in it. We used the 20W bulbs which throw out 100W of light each- 60W bulbs are too dim with this shade. The instructions, though, left a lot to be desired. They consisted of a diagram of the parts included with the lamp and how they fit together. If you are not skilled with electrical things, installing this may be somewhat problematic. Hubby is good with electrical and it was an hour start to finish (with quite a bit of time spent ensuring the lamp hung evenly). All in all, this is a great buy and a fantastic price- significantly less than [...] and other Tiffany lamp sites. Rating: 5 / 5

This is a great energy saving lamp. I didn’t realize that it doesn’t accept regular bulbs, but as it comes with a bulb and works well, I have no complaints! The iron wrought part of the lamp should be described as brown–not the best color, unless it fits in with your color scheme!

My main complaint here is not about color, however. It’s the lampshade. The packaging of the product is not very good as my lampshade arrived with dents that I can’t get out. Rating: 3 / 5

I love my new reading lamp for my bedside. The long neck allows for all sorts of positioning. And the LED brightness level is perfect for reading at night (It’s not for adding ambient light to a room, however). Rating: 5 / 5

This lamp is much smaller than i thought, it looks black in the photo but when i look at it at home its purple.

when i received it one of the lamp shades had a dent from delivery and i cannot get it out!

I needed a very tall lamp to light a dark corner of my cubical. I figured a floor lamp would have to do. I knew it would be upto 12 inches too tall. It came in pieces that easily fit together. By leaving one section out I was able to lower the light to the right height. Now my plant and I get the light we need. Rating: 5 / 5
